Kids Bike Night Highlights Point Race No. 12
by Troy Hennig
-
CHICO, CA (7-28-17) - The annual Kids Bike Night will take place this Friday night, August 4th, at the Silver Dollar Speedway. Kids 11 and under will be admitted FREE accompanied by an adult. Kids 11 and under are also recommended to bring their BMX style bicycle and during the intermission they get to race on the track for trophies and ribbons. Adding to the fun filled night geared towards kids, the Speedway has accumulated six different bikes to give away.

The pit gate will open at 4 PM while the front grandstands will open at 6 PM. Racing is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM. The adult general admission ticket will cost $14.00; however, all KIDS 11 and under will be admitted FREE. Seniors and juniors are $12.00

To avoid standing in long lines the Speedway now has an on-line purchase tickets option located at www.silverdollarspeedway.com.

Four racing divisions will join us Friday night for point race No. 12. The 410-winged sprint cars IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks are the featured attractions.

Riebes Auto Parts will be on hand tonight to hand out fliers, coupons and supplying great raffle items for the grandstand fans. We are helping them celebrate their new store now located 491 Country Drive in Chico. On Saturday, August 5th, Riebes Auto Parts is having a Grand Opening Store presentation with food and great discounts. Michael Ing and Brad Bumgarner will be in attendance with their race cars to help kick things off from 11 AM to 1 PM.

We would like to thank Earl's Plumbing, Michael Ing, Terry Brown of ManCamp and Kevin Bondi for donating the assorted styles of bikes for the kids. Also, a big thanks to Big Mike Davern.
