World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at a Glance: Mini Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway
CHICO, CA (3-8-11) -
WHAT
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series heads west for a month-long tour in California. The Mini Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway kicks off an exciting five-race stretch that will begin to answer several questions about the 2011 season: Will Steve Kinser continue his dominating start? Will Jason Meyers be able to defend his home turf? Will Joey Saldana and his Kasey Kahne Racing teammate Cody Darrah continue their momentum? Will Jason Sides keep up the pressure on the top contenders in the championship standings?
WHEN
Saturday, March 12, at Silver Dollar Speedway. The pit gates will open at 2 p.m., with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Qualifying is set for 6 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m.
WHERE
Silver Dollar Speedway is on Fair Street in Chico, Calif. Take East Park Avenue a half-mile southwest of CA-99. Then go west on Fair Street to the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds.
TICKETS
Tickets for the Mini Gold Cup are available now by calling the World Racing Group Box Office at 877-395-8606 or by going to www.WorldofOutlaws.com/tickets. Adult reserved tickets are 45 dollars and include a FREE fan pit pass. Children 12 and under also get in free with the purchase of an Adult reserved ticket. Adult general admission seating is $39. Kids general admission (12 and under) is $19.
