CHICO, CA (8-6-15) - The final push towards crowning track champions begins this Friday night, August 14th, at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. For three consecutive Friday nights the speedway will host Chuck Patterson Dodge/Jeep point racing action. The 410 sprint cars, dirt modifieds, limited late models, street stocks and hobby stocks are set to duel on the famed quarter-mile clay oval speedway for upcoming point race #13.This Friday night is also the annual kid�s bike night races at the Speedway. Kids 11 and under will get the chance to bring their own bike and race it on the front straight during the intermission. Trophies or ribbons will be awarded to participants. Also during the night, two new bmx style bikes will be raffled off for free to the young kids in attendance. ManCamp Motorsports will be supplying free items for the kids to win usually through trivia questions. Heart Attack Racing and Dutch Bros gift cards will be given away also.

The pit gate for the competitors will open at 4 PM. The front gate for the fans will open at 6 PM. Racing is slated to start at 7 PM. Adult general admission is $13.00, juniors and seniors are $11.00. Kids 11 and under will be admitted free with a paying adult. The bikes races will take place after all heat races are completed and before the main events.

Chico�s Jonathan Allard comes into Friday night as the new 410 sprint car point leader. Allard holds a slim seven point edge over Roseville�s Sean Becker. Allard has five main event point wins this season while Becker is a perfect 10 for 10 when it comes to top 10 main event finishes. Anderson�s Rowdy McClenon sits all by himself in the third position. Chico�s Michael Ing sits in the fourth spot while Auburn�s Andy Forsberg rounds out the top five.

Limited Late Models will make their final start of 2015 at Silver Dollar Speedway this Friday night. Marysville�s Ryan McDaniel is trying to secure his perfect season. McDaniel has won all seven of the previously raced main events this year. Can anyone break up his �no-hitter?�

The street stock championship battle is as close as it gets. Olivehurst�s Eddie Hammett leads Chico�s Clinton Earl by just two points. These two will have this Friday and August 28th to decide the track championship.

Sacramento�s Brian Compton holds a large advantage over Paradise�s David Pierce in the hobby stock division. Compton is looking to win his second track championship. His first came in 2013.

Ryan McDaniel is trying to win two championships in the same year. He leads three-time track champion Duane Cleveland, of Yuba City, but just four points. Chico Volkswagen driver Mark Abouzeid sits in third and wants to get into victory lane on this night.
