2019 Race Schedule for Silver Dollar Speedway
Chico, CA (January 13, 2019) …. Silver Dollar Speedway is excited to unveil 27 nights of motorsport events during 2019 at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in Chico, CA. The historic ¼ mile high banked clay oval race track is set to host a wide range of entertaining events led by the popular Friday night point championship season featuring the winged sprint cars, IMCA Sport Mods, Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks.

The season will kick-off with the annual Silver Cup Race of Champions. This race is scheduled for March 1st and 2nd. It will feature winged 360 sprint cars and the popular Dwarf Cars.
One of the highlights this season is the involvement with nearby resident Brad Sweet of Grass Valley. Sweet, who won last years Knoxville Nationals in Iowa and finished second in the World of Outlaw point standings, is teaming up with the Silver Dollar Speedway to bring back the Mini-Gold on March 15th. The race is a World of Outlaw sanctioned event.
The first of fourteen-point races will start on March 22nd. The season long point battle will conclude on Aug 23rd.
The bone crunching mayhem of the Monster trucks return on April 12th and 13th.
The first of five 410-winged sprint car events take place on May 3rd. The annual Bill Brownell Memorial fits in nicely the night before the Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial on May 4th. The Bradway Jr. Memorial is a NARC/KWS event. On August 22nd, a Thursday night, the Speedway will host a second NARC/KWS event during their Speedweek. The race is set to feature NASCAR star and former two-time Gold Cup Champion Kyle Larson.
We remember David Tarter on June 14th and Tyler Wolf on August 16th. Each memorial race is popular with the drivers and fans. The Fall Nationals in tribute to Stephen Allard is held on September 27th and 28th. This race always concludes racing at the Silver Dollar Speedway.
The climax of the 2019 takes place with the 66th Gold Cup Race of Champions. The popular event will take place September 4th – 7th. The Gold Cup features two nights of World of Outlaw racing, the Gold Cup Platinum Cup and Dwarf Cars. Leading up to this event is the Kyle Larson Outlaw Kart Showcase held at the nearby Cycleland Speedway on Monday, September 2nd and Tuesday night, September 3rd.
Early July will host two popular events led by Fast Cars and Freedom on July 4th, fireworks and racing, and the crowded Dollar Night on July 12th.
For those wishing to practice for the upcoming season, we have reserved February 24th as an opportunity for teams to get some track time.
