32nd Fall Nationals a Tribute to Stephen Allard
CHICO, Calif., September 19, 2025…The 2025 racing season ends with the annual running of the Fall Nationals, a tribute to Stephen Allard. For the 32nd time, sprint car drivers will get to battle for the right to be called a Fall Nationals champion. This year, SLC Promotions are excited to add the Hobby Stocks to the Fall Nationals schedule of events for both nights.
This event will mark the 11th time that Silver Dollar Speedway will honor Chico’s own Stephen Allard. It has been nearly 13 years since the racing world received the dreaded news that Allard had passed away on December 24, 2012. Since then, Silver Dollar Speedway has hosted the Fall Nationals event in his honor and remembering him as a two-time track champion and winner of 18 career feature event wins at Chico.
Big money is on the line this weekend. Saturday night the Fall Nationals sprint car winner will take home $4,000. Drivers will earn at least $400 to start the Saturday feature. The Fall Nationals Saturday night winner will also be presented with the Stephen Allard perpetual trophy. The Hobby Stock winner on Friday night will collect $500, while a whopping $1,000 goes to the winner on Saturday night. Big car counts are expected in both divisions each night.
There is a new T-shirt design, and a limited supply of hats are for sale at the event only in honor of Stephen Allard. Friends and family of Allard will handle the merchandise sales. Proceeds from those sales will add extra money to the competitors on Saturday night.
Last season Justin Sanders scored his first Fall Nationals Saturday night win. Chasing him to the checkered flag were Dominic Gorden and Tanner Holmes. Fremont’s Shane Golobic is a three-time winner of this event and won his third Fall Nationals in 2023. Tied with Golobic for three Saturday night wins are Andy Forsberg and Sean Becker. Overall, Tim Kaeding has the most Fall Nationals Saturday night wins with five.

Special $10 grandstand admission on Friday night only. This deal is only available at the front gate starting at the 5 PM opening. If you buy your ticket online for Friday, the overall cost is $11.37. Saturday grandstand pricing is available online. Fans can also purchase their grandstand ticket Saturday night at the front gate.
Kids 12 and under are FREE for both nights. Parking is FREE by the main entrance of the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds.
Hot laps (practice) are scheduled for 6:15 PM. Sprint cat time trials are slated to begin by 6:30 PM. Opening ceremonies are scheduled for 7 PM. This time frame is for both nights of racing.
Saturday, September 27th, there will be a “Happy Hour” beer special from 4 PM to 6PM only at the Farmers Brewing Beer Booth.
RACE TEAMS
Please enter the fairgrounds through the side road by Costco off Martin Luther King Blvd. Pit gate is set to open at 2 p.m. each day for the competitors. NO TRUCKS or TRAILERS can be left in the pit area overnight. The pit gate will be locked shortly following the Friday night race. There is plenty of space available on the fairgrounds to park after Friday night’s race.
Silver Dollar Speedway is aligned with SCCT rules for both nights of racing.
The pit meeting by the scoreboard for both nights will take place at 5:30 PM.
CAMPING
Camping at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds begins Thursday AFTERNOON on Pit Road and spots by RC Track. First come, first serve for camping this weekend. NO OPEN FIRE PITS are allowed on Fairgrounds. The cost is $50 per night. Please do not stop by the fairground’s office. Campers are encouraged to pay at the pit booth on Friday or Saturday. If not, a member from SLC Promotions will come by your motorhome to receive payment. Thank you.
